Clera is an AI-powered self-improvement platform that analyzes selfie photos to provide appearance scores, personalized improvement tips, and wellness tracking features. The service includes photo analysis, style quizzes, goal tracking, daily logging, and AI-generated glow-up previews.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Clera. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You may only upload photos of yourself or photos you have the right to use
• You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm other users
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or circumvent any technical limitations of the service

4. Credits and Payments

• Clera operates on a credit-based system. Certain features require credits to use
• Credits can be purchased individually or through subscription plans (Pro, Elite)
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of purchase to request a refund
• Unused credits do not expire while your account is active

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: Clera is for entertainment and personal guidance only.

• Appearance scores and ratings are generated by AI algorithms and are inherently subjective
• Results should not be interpreted as medical, psychological, or professional advice
• AI-generated improvement tips are general suggestions and may not be appropriate for every individual
• Glow-up preview images are AI-generated visualizations and do not represent guaranteed outcomes
• We strongly encourage consulting qualified professionals for health, dermatological, or psychological concerns

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your photos solely for the purpose of providing the service.

The Clera platform, including its design, code, AI models, branding, and content, is owned by Clera and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Clera is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-generated scores or recommendations

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in a manner that could harm other users or the platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of Clera after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
